Eons upon Eons © Donna Rae Lands
We may live next door to you...
We may see thee, through and through...
Tough times, fun times, and no times...
Eons upon eons, beyond these rhymes...
As innocence is taught to our young...
No lying, stealing, and hugs in loving songs...
Be honorable to all thou neighbors...
Respect all fruits and labors...
Some beg, plead, and expect from others...
Some no longer work as sharing sisters or brothers...
Thy honor has gone amongst all our neighbors…
Many covet our fruits and labors...
Kings and Queens in all their ways...
Are enslaving us for harder days...
Fools, slaves, one and all...
Minds, bodies, and spirits to take the great fall...
All because we may live next door to you...
We may hear you, through and through...
Rough times, happy times, and all times...
Eons upon eons beyond these rhymes...
