Humpty Dumpty Sadler © Donna Rae Lands
Humpty dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty dumpty had a great fall.
The entire king’s horses and all the king’s men...tried to lie and put him back together again.
They made a mistake...for they were on the take...
They used screws with all the news...
They used glue on his hips and on his shoulder tips.
Humpty dumpty now...forever known as the beastly cow. Whenever Humpty dumpty spoke...
All the peasants were made a joke...
Sleep and slumber until they awoke.
Sadler was his name...
Humpty dumpty was his fame...
We will not forget with any kind of regret.
The trumpets will be on call for the American people...one and all.
Some called him a sleaze ball… which is true…
Sadler’s egg is round, oval and blue…
Communism is his coup de grace…
Socialism with all its flaws…
Sadler will die a broken soul…
Never to be respected when memories grow old!
Amen and Hallelujah.
