He’s the man with the plan…
The good man starts in the morn…
His hurting shoes are slowly worn…
He’s the seeker throughout the land…
His destiny was never torn…
His steps are wide…
His gait full of honor-taken in stride…
The good man takes delight in our Lord…
He always protects goodness from the cult of the sword…
He holds fast to the good things that last…
The good man knows the light that is good…
He loves his wife like a good man should…
The good man preserves kind acts…
Whilst avoiding horrid attacks…
The good man lifts you up and keeps his word…
A good man is the shepherd of his Texas herd…
The good man is a man of strength…
Who prays and gives our God his thanks…
The good man is cruising…
He’s never abusive, giving you a bruising…
The good man gets your vote…the vote of hope…
The good man is a sterling find…
The good man is priceless all the time…
His principles and integrity never grow old…
He comes from his mama, his mama of gold…
The good man is to cherish and hold dear…
The good man is a good dad full of cheer…
A good man has no regrets…nor does he ever forget…
When the day is finished and all is done…
Remember the good man was also a loving son…
